Leading people to experience a new life in Christ

NCC Kids

What is Northwest Kids?

Northwest Kids is created with children and families in mind. Kids (birth through fourth grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments, and we teach the Bible in a creative, relevant way. Our classes include:

Nursery (Birth to 24 months)

Toddlers (2-3 years)

Pre-K/Kindergarten (4-5 years)

Elementary (1st – 5th grade)

Relevant Bible Teaching

The Bible is the greatest story ever told, and it is the unchanging word of God to his people. We engage children with scripture through fun activities and discussions. We want all children to love God’s word and to understand their need for a Savior, Jesus Christ.

 Exciting Worship

We believe music is a great way to teach kids the character of God.  Each week kids get to experience music that is exciting and meaningful for them.  Our teachers lead in this and sometimes get a great workout when they lead kids in song motions!

We value security and safety. We provide a safe and secure place for your children to learn and grow. Each week, we give you and your children a nametag with a unique identification code when you sign in. Parents must provide a tag with a matching identification number in order to pick up their children. In addition, all Northwest Kids volunteers complete a thorough application and background check process in order to be approved for serving in our Children’s Ministry.

First Time at Northwest Kids?

Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of the service. We will gladly show you around our children’s ministry area and help you get your kids signed in and settled into their classes.

Want to serve with us?

We offer many service opportunities to help children of all ages learn about Jesus—his Word and his works. Here is a brief description of all of our positions.

Classroom Teachers display Christ’s love to children and families and creatively teach Bible truths each week by overseeing a classroom.

Hall Monitors welcome guests as they arrive and help escort children to their classrooms. They also provide help to teachers in the classrooms.

Set up Team arrives early at 8:15am for a time of prayer, and they help get the children’s area set up before the service begins. They also help pack up the children’s area after the service each week.
