Leading people to experience a new life in Christ

Student Ministry

Empowering the next generation of disciple makers

We exist to equip young people to develop a deep relationship with Christ, encourage uplifting relationships with others, and enable life changing environments through serving others.

We do this through

  • Growing together in large group – We gather together on Sunday nights at 6pm at the Northwest Church Office for a time of teaching and music. Our goal is to grow in Christ through the study and application of His word.
  • Living life together through authentic community – We want to create a solid, fun, and interactive environment with Northwest Students that reflect authentic community. Living life together through fun interactive evenings together throughout the month. Each night will look a little bit different, maybe Laser Tag, or Bowling, or some other type of activity that would direct us to our goal of growing in our relationships with each other to help sharpen and spur each other on in our walks with Jesus.
  • Serving people together is a huge part of our vision and goal for Northwest Students is to grow together through serving others. Each month we will have some type of service project that we will do together. This could look like helping at the homeless shelter, a free car wash, or even sending care packages to Papua New Ginea. With the overall goal of pointing to the heart of Christ and learning how to serve others with humility.

We are committed to providing a safe environment for students to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, sharpen each other as they live in community with other students, and are challenged through serving people. We believe in developing godly character and wisdom in the midst of difficult life decisions students are beginning to face, so that when they reach college they will have a foundation that is grounded in Biblical truth.
